The First Book of Poems: Strange Ideas & Impure Thoughts

I am not a writer, a poet, or an artist. Like everyone, I have lived, loved and lost. Over my lifetime, without realizing it, I have learned to welcome these experiences and emotions into internal conversation. These conversations will, sometimes, lead to some form of expression – a drawing or an iterative attempt to explain literarily.By design, this body of work is natural. It is a reflection of thoughts and artwork that manifested over the course of a few years. It has not been edited, reviewed, curated, nor designed with ambition of any kind. In fact, I do not know if it is good or bad. I do not know if anyone will relate or even appreciate its contents. I do know, however, that it was created by an amateur with a heavy reliance on the richest of human experiences – the everyday joys, pains, and contemplations of life. Read more
